I can't say that I remember this guys name, and I feel horrible because of that. But I was on assignment today and he was one of the speakers congratulating Mike Lutz. This man was a police officer in Philadelphia and upon investigating a crime scene, he along with his partner were gunned down. The assault was fatal for his partner and should've been for him also. He was badly injured and paralyzed. After months and months of therapy he regained his speech ability and can function normally. His struggle and determination is something that makes me value everything that I have. I love meeting people who can change your life so much in such a short time.
